Carmin was born in Kenora, Ontario, now based out of Toronto. Her journey took her to PrairieView School of Photography in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and then on to Humber College in Toronto for Creative Photography.

She has travelled around the globe to continue learning new techniques and creating new work.

Carmin has shown her artwork in small galleries in Kenora, Winnipeg, Ottawa, and Toronto.
